On August 23, 2006, Compton Community College’s accreditation was withdrawn by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. This webpage will be maintained by the Chancellor's Office for the expressed purpose of providing the public with comprehensive and accurate historical information regarding the withdrawal of the College’s accredited status and ongoing efforts to preserve educational access in Compton and surrounding communities.
As of Fall Term 2006, El Camino College Compton Center will offer accredited instructional programs and supportive services to students on the Compton campus. New and current students seeking academic information about El Camino College Compton Center should visit the Center’s website at www.compton.edu.
