The 1993 Report on Fee Impact was released by the Chancellor's Office, CCC, in
December 1993. Because of the widespread concern over how changes in student tuition
fees will influence enrollments now and in the coming years, our office is making
this report available to the public as an electronic file for downloading by visitors
to this website. We apologize for the rough appearance of the electronic version,
but this version used a reproduced paper copy as its source (the conversion courtesy
of Craig Hayward of Mendocino CC). Unfortunately, our budget will not permit us
to distribute paper copies of the report. My predecessor in this office, Dr. Chuck
McIntyre, was responsible for the completion of this study, in concert with the
Research & Planning Group of the California Community Colleges. Please observe
that some background in economics, or consultation with an economist, will be
