Programs and Initiatives

The Telecommunications and Technology Unit oversees and funds various programs and initiatives to support for the delivery of system wide data, satellite, video, and voice communications. To learn more about these activities please select a link below:

California Educational Technology Collaborative
CETC brings together all of the CCC system wide technology projects and their strategic partners into a single group, allowing the individual projects to remain autonomous, while giving the new group a single-project focus.

@ONE Technology Training
@ONE Technology Training provides free or low-cost technology training, support and online resources to CCC faculty and staff to enhance student learning and success.

CCCApply Online Admission
CCC Apply allows students to conveniently apply online to any California Community College for admission. 

CCC Confer e-conferencing
CCC Confer is the system wide e-conferencing service. Meeting, training, tutoring, counseling, Office Hours and more.

3C Media Solutions
3C Media Solutions, formerly known as CCCSAT, is the distance learning satellite network dedicated to providing access to educational instruction as well as CCC relevant information and entertainment.

California Virtual Campus (CVC)
California Virtual Campus provides a listing of more than 5,000 distance education courses offered by accredited California educational institutions.

Cal-PASS
Cal-PASS brings together primary, secondary and post-secondary education segments through regional educational data sharing partnerships.  Cal-PASS’ objective is to identify and reduce the barriers for successful student transition at all levels of education.

CCCTran e-transcripts
CCCTran is a web-based electronic transcript system between California Community Colleges and their trading partners. CCCTran was released August 2007 and is now available to interested colleges. Press Release.

CCC Clearinghouse
The CCC Clearinghouse program is an online document resource center designed to provide users with ready access to an extensive body of education-related data.

CCC Technology Center
The CCC Technology Center helps to facilitate and coordinate the work of the CCC system wide technology projects.

CENIC
The Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California provides to the community colleges and other educational segments access to high speed internet via its CalREN network; which also includes access to Internet 2 and National LambdaRail (NLR).
