This one page handout presents research showing the payoff for occupational education for both the public investment of funds and the students’ investment of time. The evidence that Post-secondary education clearly enhances the lifetime earnings of individuals increasing their contribution as productive taxpayers is provided in a short, easy to digest format.
California community colleges prepare students for needed public service positions. Demand is high for workers in health, administration of justice, fire technology, and other public service occupations. The California community colleges prepare a high percentage of the workers in these fields.
