Bogue-Feinour
Vice
Chancellor
Carole Bogue-Feinour, of Salinas, has been appointed vice
chancellor of academic affairs for California Community Colleges.
Prior to her retirement in August 2005, she was the vice president
for academic affairs at Monterey Peninsula College. Previously,
Bogue-Feinour served as vice president of instruction for
Canada College from 1990 to 1996. She was instrumental in
creating and shaping the Higher Educational Learning Partners
(HELP) consortium that includes California State University,
Monterey Bay and four regional Community Colleges. Bogue-Feinour
is a lifetime member of the College Reading and Learning Association.
Under the direction of Vice Chancellor Bogue-Feinour,
the Academic Affairs Division will continue to be the standard-bearer
in the delivery of leadership and technical assistance, enhancing
the capacity of the community colleges in the areas of academic
planning, program approval, and review of credit degrees and
certificates.

Credit and Non Credit Program and Course Approval as well
as Transfer and Articulation; Library and Learning Resources
Programs; Basic Skills/ESL Literacy; Credit Programs and Courses;
Noncredit Adult and Continuing Education; Global Education;
Distance Learning; Special Project Management and Systemwide
Technical Assistance; Compressed and Flex Calendar; Inter
Segmental Coordination; Course and Program Articulation; Strengthening
the Relationship with the State Academic Senate and the Chief
Instructional Officers of the Intersegmental CCC.
